Contact lenses are a great option for many people. They can reduce your reliance on glasses, are great for sports, or for a night out. Our staff are great at teaching patients how to insert, remove and care for their lenses. We have many years experience of fitting lenses. There are a few steps for a new contact lens fitting. The first step is picking the right lens design and this could be any of the following:
The next step is to find a lens that fits snuggly on your cornea. If a lens is too loose it will move around too much and if it’s too tight it will prevent tear exchange under the lens and can reduce the amount of oxygen available to the cornea.
The last step is to do an over refraction. An over refraction lets us fine tune the prescription, because the spectacle prescription does not always translate 100% to the contact lens prescription. An over refraction by your optometrist is how we guarantee you’re seeing the best you can with your new contact lenses. The optics behind glasses and contact lenses are different and the prescriptions are not the same that is why a contact lens fit must be done to come up with your best fitting contact lens.

Convenience.Comfort.Quality.Affordability. Performance. These traits are the foundation of our wide range of contact lenses. The latest technology is a hydraglyde treatment on the surface of the lens which releases moisture with every blink to keep eyes moist and comfortable throughout the day.
Cooper Harmony family of silicone hydrogel contact lenses are made from Aquaform Comfort Science Technology, a unique material that is highly breathable and moist. High levels of oxygen flow freely through the lens, helping to keep your eyes clear, white and healthy looking. This naturally wet lens material holds water within the lens making it soft, moist and resistant to dehydration and protein deposits.
Freedom and flexibility to look your best. Bausch & Lomb offers a wide range of soft contact lens choices for almost every type of vision correction, including those with astigmatism or presbyopia (the need for reading glasses).
